Bootleg Rascals is a half hour comedy/drama series that follows the trials and tribulations of two groups of drama students and friends in their young to mid-twenties. It is set against the backdrop of the acting faculty in a University based in a regional country town in Australia. The series focuses on their friendships, their impulsive and frenetic relationships, the partying, and a whole lot of ridiculous circumstances. We journey with the students as we see them navigate their way to find their place in the world.

The series is bold and confronting. It is not a soap, but it is both amusing and dramatic.
